So, as I’ve mentioned before, I’m a bike nerd. As a bike nerd, I’ve been waiting on this ONE film to come out for the past two years or so. MASH is a film by Gabe Morford and Mike Martin, two esteemed skate photographers with a need for speed and the will to chase after a bunch of brakeless and gearless fixed gear riders through the hills of SF.

Well, this weekend was the NYC premier for the film. There was a race and a trick session at the Brooklyn Banks prior, then a HUGE group ride through the LES to the theater in the East Village. I was blown away at the number of people who showed up and even more BLOWN away by the film itself.

At the Brooklyn banks competition, some of the kids from Cadence, a Seattle and Philly-based fixed gear crew / clothing line put on a show. These kids know what the fuck is up and were making everyone’s jaw drop!

Needless to say, a few of us NYC kids showed them some moves too!

My girlfriend took a bunch of pics of me dicking off, doing barspins, wheelies and shit. This kid from Albany took some amazing shots as well! Peep the pics and stay tuned for a screening near you!
