There are a few reasons why I love about Blood On the Wall
1) They have possibly one of the awesomest bands names of all time
2) they’re just straight up good ol’ indie rock. Like indie rock when indie rock meant Pavement, Sonic Youth, Sebadoh, GBV, etc, etc, and not now when it could be avant speed noise dance mosh one week and freak folk thrash metal the next week.
3) They always keep it short and sweet with their albums. So few bands remember that trick anymore
4) They adorable and bro & sis who used to run that sweet vinatge shop Rejoice that was right original Alife location on Orchard St.

Anyway Liferz is as satisfying if not more so than Awesomer and their self titled debut album. Blood On the Wall are like the Snickers of indie rock, yeah that’s it!
