My girlfriend and I were watching Project Runway last night. If you are familiar with the show they always have a challenge where they send the contestants to explore NYC and gather photos that will then inspire one of their designs.

One of the contestants, Terri, took a photo of what looks like a newspaper box covered in stickers. I think she purposely took it blurry (or maybe they didn’t want to give us the press), but there was def a big streak of magenta in her final dress.

I am not one to point out everytime a celebrity wears one of our t-shirts or a sticker shows up on TV, but I thought this was pretty cool!

Big Ups to the Mishka Street Team. Word!

This month they feature Kazey (Dress 2 Sweat) , along side residents Sekta and Kosakot holdin’ it down for all the young ladies! We’ve done plenty of Interviews over the years… some print, some videos. I must say after a while the novelty really wore off especially when the same questions kept being asked. Now I’m obviously being a bit partial here, but when Greg showed me this Digital Gravel video done while I was away I was skeptical at first, but it actually was really well done, funny and most importantly really fun to watch!

Props to Nima and DG for putting this together and dropping by while he was in NYC a few months ago! Those of you curious as to our day to day and offices, well then here you go! I apologize for the mess though, we only just moved in recently!

DESTROY THE WORLD!

Two weeks ago we had the pleasure of receiving an email from no other than Iggor Cavalera. For those who don’t know who that is, he is the original drummer for Sepultura, one of the heaviest to come out of Brasil and destroy the world!We were cordially invited to go see the new Cavalera brothers project, The Cavalera Conspiracy at Irving Plaza. Little did I know that they not only did all of the Sepultura hits but also new material from their album Inflikted. Pretty sick!After meeting the band we rolled with Iggor and his wife Layma to their DJ gig as MixHell at Webster Hall. It doesn’t get better than a husband & wife throwin’ down bangers accompanied by live drumming and mpc!This whole two day experience (as we saw CC play twice) and the Mad Fools In The Park show made this one of the most fun weekends I’ve had in a while!

The Hypnotize Camp definitely stays in steady rotation here at our office, which is coincidentally located amongst the Hasidic population of South Williamsburg.
