More upsetting hockey news, Miroslav Ε atan (pronounced SHAH-than) will be playing for the Penguins next season. You think the Penguins will sell a lot more Satan jerseys in black than the Islanders orange-blue? Even tho he never scored as much for the Islanders, it was always interesting to see “satan” skating at nassau coliseum.

I was so disappointed that Satan signed with the Penguins. Despite a couple of of years he still in the right situation net 20-25 goals and 60 points. I was really hoping the Devils would have gone after him to add some depth scoring AND because I want to see Satan as a Devil! It’d be a win-win just on jersey sales alone!

satanists and hockey… would have been a great combo at the Prudential Center in Newark.
rain delay: top of 8th at Yankee Stadium. Damon dropped a crazy fly ball ON TOP OF THE WALL which somehow sat on the left field fence and then rolled back onto the field for a triple. WAIT TIL you see the highlights.
how do you like the 4th of July MLB caps? the Red Sox cap look sharper than the Yanks.

oh, and today is the 69th anniversary of Lou Gehrig’s “Luckiest Man” speech at Yankee Stadium.

In its coverage the following day, The New York Times said it was “Perhaps as colorful and dramatic a pageant as ever was enacted on a baseball field [as] 61,808 fans thundered a hail and farewell”
