Like us, Ellen’s work exudes a sense of boldness and sheer fun, which makes the collaboration a fitting match.

I met Mishka through some friends and really liked their aesthetic,” comments Ellen Stagg on the start of her collaborative relationship with Mishka. “After shooting a couple of look books for them, we began to talk about doing a calendar of scantily clad to naked women, which I have always wanted to shoot as it reminded me of the classic pin ups you would find in old automotive garages.  The combination of Mishka fantasies and branding with my amazing models has allowed us to create something sexy, fun, beautiful and just plain cool.  I’m so proud of this calendar.

Subtly adorned in our motifs, the limited run calendar is themed around the fun female-driven fantasies of adolescent males and features models like Justine Joli, Jelena Jensen, Joanna Angel, Mandy Morbid, Darenzia, Zoli, Jessie Lee, Nicole & Ariel.  Accompanying each pin-up will also be an original dirty comic penned by the fantastically funny Jon Vermilyea, a regular contributor to both Mishka and Vice Magazine.

In addition, we’ve produced an exclusive Mandy Morbid T-shirt to go along with the calendar.  The special T-shirt retails for $32 on its own or can combined with the 2009 Mishka Calendar by Ellen Stagg for $50.  To celebrate the release of the calendar, there will also be a special promotional display in Williamsburg courtesy of Music Skins.
