The Bloglin Wants You!
EDIT 11/19/08: THE POSITIONS HAVE BEEN FILLED! A big thank you to all who applied for your interest!
The Bloglin seeking one or two dedicated bloggers to contribute original and relevant content to our ever rising readership
We’re looking for interviews, features, art & music reviews, gallery openings, nightlife photography, essays, whatever! The more original content you can provide, the better! What we’re not looking for isĀ someone to simply repost Youtube videos or pictures & articles already all-over the web.
This will be an unpaid gig but we can offer you some pretty fun, fulfilling and worthwhile perks for your time and posts. The ideal candidate should be dedicated enough to contribute at least 3 meaningful original content based posts per week.
To be considered please have:
1. A strong sense of grammar and writing skills
2. Familiarity with how Wordpress works
3. A rudimentary knowledge of Photoshop so you can re-size, create or just edit images for your blog posts.
If you possess neither of the top 3 skills than please do not bother shooting us an email! However If this sounds like something you’re not only interested in, but have the skills to do than by all means shoot us an email with Mishka Blogging in the subject line telling us a little about yourself, what sort of posts and articles you can bring to the Bloglin and some examples of your work, writing, photography or just other blogs you’ve written or currently write for. Only applicants who meet all the criteria we’re looking for in a blogger will be responded to, to everyone else we thank you for your interest.
*Sigh* — Guys I don’t mean to be a dick here but if you can’t follow directions and EMAIL what was asked for consideration then this really isn’t for you. We didn’t ask for you all to apply via the comments section on this post and frankly I can’t fathom why some of you thought that was even a good idea? I get that this is a blog and all so people tend to feel more comfortable being as informal as possible but the first thing I was looking for out of any qualified applicants was how well you followed instructions.
