Time Killer
I’ll admit I’m not the biggest Van Halen fan. It’s not that I think they suck, it’s just that I really didn’t get into them.
Save Running With the Devil, there was nothing about them that captivated me as a kid. I remember thinking as a kid the only people that were into Van Halen were construction workers and blond truck bunny’s that smoked Export A (sorry Americans, this cultural allusion might go over your head).
Perhaps if they employed a better marketing tactic like developing – i dunno – this game back then, the story would be different.

Prolly’d. This post is pretty shameful.
It’s unfortunate that you didn’t get into Van Halen as a kid, while they were in their Diamond Dave prime. They brought sex to mainstream television with videos like “Hot for Teacher” (and Dave’s own “California Girls”), and succeeded in providing a most excellent backdrop to hours spent trading Garbage Pail Kid cards and playing with He-Man figures.

Again. It’s not that I DIDN’T like them. I was just indifferent towards them. They didn’t do anything for me – for better or for worse. Kind of like white noise.
