Timecrimes, by Nacho

Just had some Sunday night Spanish sci-fi thrills with Timecrimes. Directed by a dude with the best name ever, Nacho Vigalondo, the movie revolves around mild-mannered binocular enthusiast Hector who accidentally travels back in time. He interferes with the past and creates other “copies” of himself. Murder, boobs, humor, great music, and a cast of four (including Nacho himself) make up this highly enjoyable and easy to follow thriller. They never actually try to explain how the time travel works, which is fine by me. The actual “science” in sci-fi is something I prefer in the backseat while the human aspects take the wheel. Check it out, nerds.

I heard this was a solid flick – it’s not on DVD / Blu-ray yet, right?

Negative on the Blu-ray. But I got a boring old DVD of it off Netflix.

Amazing, acting really is incredible. I personally am excited as heck to see The Book of Eli. It’s got my favorite actor – Denzel Washington. Really psyched!
