Karl Pilkington Coming to HBO
No one is really sure if Karl Pilkington is a comedy genius or just really stupid. What is certain, however, is that he’s one of the funniest people on the planet. That’s a fact, so shutup. He’s the producer for the insanely popular Ricky Gervais/Stephen Marchant podcast and has turned his confused world view into a cottage industry. This was announced a few weeks ago, I know, but HBO has ordered an animated version of the podcast, which is usually just Ricky and Stephen throwing topics at Karl to see what he can make of them.
My first Karl experience was the 19 minute interview below. Within the first two minutes, I had laughter-tears running down my red face. Check it out for yourself and enjoy Karl’s view on the rapid aging of Chinese women, the uselessness of a three-legged juggler, and other piquant subjects.
