To my  surprise I just received this flyer drawn by Andrew Wendel  (DC Comics), the one who drew me this awesome thing from a former post.  I’m starting to think this guy’s got talent.  American burka. I’m down. Apparently I’ll be singing over at Rose Lounge Texas BBQ style this Independence Day anniversary.

Also have to then mention Betty Black is playing every Friday in July at Nublu, except not every Friday since Ben Dietz and I just got booked on a mini Scandinavian tour end of next month so I won’t be around for the last 2 Fridays and I’m a little too lazy to change the flyer just yet.  Which brings me to….

Vivian Alive! , brought to you by your friends Passions and Myself and featured on the last track of the TnB Scion mix. Still in our embryonic stages, I quickly appropriated this image from Black Mask Magazine from the 20′s and we also have a few demos.  Looking forward to our first mini tour where we will play the Gagnef Festival with the Fagget Fairies, also looking forward to becoming sisterbrothers with them since we will be joining their label, Palms Out Records, for an EP release of this project. The day we arrive back in NYC will be the Betty Black EP release of ‘Slow Dance’ at Le Poisson Rouge, Aug. 2nd
