Antichrist

I’m not usually a fan of Willem Dafoe but Antichrist like a promising movie. Paired with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Dafoe looks like a perfect choice for this flick.
The storyline is a couple escapes to Eden, their cabin in the woods to repair their broken marriage and rekindle their love. Pleasant right? Well, shit goes downhill from there as Charlotte’s character begins to be tormented by nature. A whole series of “Omen-esque” montages take place, showing animals preparing for the arrival of the Beast. Because nature is Satan’s church after all!
No word on the US release, but I’ll try to keep you posted!

The US release date is October 23rd. This movie is going to be incredible and the anticipation is killing me. Charlotte won Best Actress at Cannes for her role in this one.
