Gruesome Twosome.

It’s possible that the Mishka Bootleg just got a run for it’s money in the ‘awesomely awfully heinously disgustingly beautifully ugly’ category of toys. No two-headed radness, to be sure, but still, this one takes a few cakes for me.

The very recent ‘Monarch Pink’ version of the Zollmen King Pepora (painted by the mysterious King Bee) landed on my doorstep a few days ago, complete with equally troubling little omake friend, and I am still at a bit of a loss as to how to feel about them.

They stare.

Frankly, I never expected to look at my blobPus toys and feel like they were cute, but, in comparison to these, I look at my Dokugans and am comforted. I look at my Hedorahs and I’m soothed. And then my gaze wanders back to and is scraped across the dead-baby face and jesse-ventura’s-death-blast-from-Predator’s torso. And I could swear that the little probiscus/horn thing is moving.

And still they stare.

King Bee did a release over this past weekend. I was out of town, and a friend kindly emailed at the predetermined time and I was lucky enough to score. You might be able to get one aftermarket on SB, but everything Zollmen is so hot hot hot right now (and there’s no indication of how many were cast in this color) that it may be difficult to do.

Congrats on that score Justin! Beautiful pieces. These things are ridiculously hot so I’ll wait till they cool off before even begining my search.

Holy fuck those things are scary. They look like things that would lay eggs in you.
