Californication Re-Up: Zoso
Yeah we get it. Hank’s a mack. I love Embeth Davis (Felicia), but every scene with her and Hank kinda bores me. However, every scene between Hank and Jackie is great. Case in point: the strip club scene in this one. Not only did we get to see Eva Amurri’s twins, but the mid-lap dance interaction between Hank and Jackie was gold. The final scene was ridiculous. FUCK. Someone told me they thought it was a dream sequence, which doesn’t make it any less awesome.
I get the feeling Hank and Marcy are on the right track for getting back together, bloody tampons and all.
Becca makes me so miserable. It used to not be this way in the first two seasons, but now I want to drown her in a pale. Does that make me a bad hypothetical father?

I don’t get how you can enjoy the scenes between Hank and Jackie, aside from the fact that they usually involve her showing her breasts. I don’t know if it’s her as an actress or just the character but Jackie is so grating and heavy handed. She’s such a poor substitute for Mia yet basically the same character minus the fun and charming wickedness.
I also miss the wise, sweet, goth Becca.
