We wrapped up our Asia adventure with a trip to Japan. Japan is a lot like NYC, but more Japanese. I think my favorite part about this trip was that we got to meet and interview Hikaru from Bounty Hunter.

Bounty Hunter basically kick-started this whole vinyl toy phenomenon. I wish I had gotten a clear shot of this case, because it was almost every toy Bounty Hunter has produced over the last 15+ years. The magazine’s idea for a photo to go along with the interview was to place us and Hikaru inside the case, amongst all of the toys.

Another highlight of our Japan trip was seeing the Yamomark exhibition at Kaiju Blue.

Yamomark is bringing the heat with some of the best Soft Vinyl Kaiju out there! Paying homage to the vintage Bullmark figures, their line is SICK!

We also did some Halloween shopping! I found my costume right away!

Although, it was a toss up between Elephant Man and the many stages of Michael Jackson.

Of course, as always, we did a lot of toy shopping! Here is an obligatory bed/haul shot.
