Ever since I caught her at The Future is Frank CMJ showcase I’ve been on a kick to find out more about  Jasmine Solano. In my hunt I came across Jasmine actually rockin’ the Keep Watch leggings. Good Looking Women + Talent + Spandex = HOLLA!

These photos were actually taken awhile back in July, at the Budweiser Battle for the Crown competition. An event hosted by Ed Lover and Vashtire at the well-known Santos Party house on Lafayette St in Manhattan.

The competition consisted of 10 of NYC’s best-unsigned talent, live, for a spot at this years Rock the Bells event in Manhattan. Jasmine Solano, went up against 9 dudes… Each artist performed one track. She tied with 2 dudes for the final round. The finalists had to then perform a freestyle for the audience to decide the winner. And what do you know? Jasmine won off the freestyle and got a spot opening up for Nas, The Roots, Damian Marley & Common.
