Our friend and local hardcore promoter Ian Dickson passed this benefit info along to us. Ian’s been putting together some of the finest Hardcore show’s you’ll ever go to in NYC and this one is no different except it goes to benefit a stricken friends medical bills.

Nick Poot who plays in Absurd System and recently, Attake is unfortunately very sick. Nick has Hodgkin’s lymphoma, which is a form of cancer. He is one of the most Punk dudes you’ll ever meet and unfortunately doesn’t have the kind of money or insurance to help with his treatment. He has been in the hospital for a few weeks now and has recently started chemo.

Nick’s brother Jeff plays in Brain Killer and Witches With Dicks, and has put together a benefit show for Nick at 538 Johnson in Brooklyn NY w/ Brain Killer, Witches with Dicks, State of Decline & Nomos on Friday November 13th @ 8pm at 538 Johnson. There will be another benefit show held in Boston on December 19th as well.
