Bloglin Weekly Round-Up (x2)!

Headbangers

Hello lovelies. There was no Round-Up last week due to bad planning on my part, so here are two weeks worth of piss, blood, and cum. You were probably too occupied with C.O.D.M.W.2 anyways…

• Мишка has teamed up with Double Fine Productions to bring the world two gnarly tees designs for their Brütal Legend video game. The first one (pictured above) was designed by James Callahan and the second by Daniel Mumford. These shirts will be exclusively given away by Double Fine, so stay tuned to their website, twitter, and the Brütal Legend site for the scoop. On another clothing tip, all Fall Snapbacks are back in stock. So many colors. So many styles. Bummer humans only have one skull!

• And speaking of Double Fine, we’ve got an exclusive interview with one of their artists, Scott Campbell. Scott discusses his work on Brütal Legend, a man who pretends he’s blind, and more good stuff.

• If you’re looking for something to go camping in or to wander the bleak wastelands of a nuclear winter, check out the Selk Bag. This ain’t your grandpa’s sleeping bag.

• A lot of you are still mourning the Creepy Touch, but dry your eyes my little ones. The Vidiot is back with a new monthly series called Kill With Video and it’ll make you piss your soul. The theme of the first episode is Pizza Krazy and I’d say it fits.

• Boner Shorts Inducer numero uno Ellen Stagg dropped some more gorgeous photos on the Bloglin, this time of Charlotte Stokely and Zoli.

• Fucked Up rocked the masonic socks off of the Brooklyn Masonic Temple last week, and the мишка family was in attendance. Check out Toilet Cobra’s recap here, which also features Andrew W.K., attractive women, and pictures with floating orbs. Haunted!

Volume 52 of the ever popular Choice Is Yours series pitted Soundgarden’s Badmotorfinger against Sleep’s Holy Mountain and we saw some of the best back and forth arguments over Chris Cornell’s face ever.

• Zach G posted an interview and insights about the creators of the incredibly awesome album covers a lot of us have been shaking our heads over for years. Check out the goods on Pen & Pixel here. Doin’ thangs indeed.

Sporting Observations continues to bring the goods with a new column on Violence and Pain. The photos of Tyrone Prothro’s gumby ankle make my stomach lurch.

• Dubstep producer and Mishka enthusiast 12th Planet sat down with Vapors Magazine to discuss the rise of dubstep’s popularity in the U.S.

• And here’s two weeks worth of the top rated albums you should be listening to: S/T from Twin Stumps, Ultraviolet from Kid Sister, Beast Rest Fourth Mouth from Bear in Heaven, Where Moshers Dwell from F.K.Ü., Bonfires on the Heath from The Clientele, Zones Without People from Oneohtrix Point Never, Tracks and Traces Reissue from Harmonia & Eno 76, We Are the Men EP from The Men, “Summertime!” EP from The Drums, Your Worst Nightmare from Horrific, Live at Reading from Nirvana, and Butter from Hudson Mohawke.
