Sons of Anarchy Re-Up: Service

We’re in the SOA homestretch and this show just keeps getting better. After last night’s episode, it’s safe to say that Opie is pretty much the most interesting character on television right now. After Tig is so overwhelmed with guilt that he spills about Donna, Opie doesn’t go berzerk on anyone quite like I thought he would. He splits Tig’s face open (must have been wearing the Demon Scourge ring), sure, but then walks away. Despite all the pain it’s brought him, he realizes that SAMCRO is essential to his life and sanity. More so than vengeance. At least for now.

But it wasn’t just Ryan Hurst (Opie) that brought their A-Game this week, everyone was incredible. Kim Coates (Tig) has turned into a real tragic character who just keeps fucking up left and right. WTF was up with him and Gemma going at it? Do they have a history? Earlier she stated that Clay won’t touch her anymore after she told them about the rape, it could have manifested from that. Dude seems suicidal with guilt!!!

Now that all of the MC’s secrets are disclosed and Clay and Jax have buried the hatchet, it’s time for the boys to focus their efforts on taking down Zobelle. And when they do, it’s going to be immeasurably satisfying. Let’s go!

Last night’s episode was great… I was thinking that it was nazi killing time, but glad they choose a wiser approach to the problem. I didn’t really see half of what happened coming… but that’s what makes this show great. Can’t wait to see the final two episodes.

This episode was awesome! I think I had my mouth opened a few times in shock more than a few times.

I love that Clay is thinking more about survival mode. I loved Opie putting a gun to ATF agent (I dont feel like looking up her name, and I forget), her breaking down crying was awesome on so many levels. I loved Opies dad going all travis bickle!

I watched the preview for next weeks episode like 3 times. When the niners and the chinese come out to back up samcro against the white power goons, oh man oh man oh man!

“My best 10 guys versus yours” WHAT!!??

i was hoping for some skull crushing this episode but they are really stewing this revenge tactic into a crazy season ending tornado.

This episode was SO full of emotionally dramatic scenes. Tigs guilt (again), Opies rage and surprising composure, Stahl breaking down over causing Donnas death, Piney trying to kill Clay, Gemmas……lust(?).

Good to see Op an Jax back to the way they were. The rift between Jax and Clay isn’t as obvious now, but we know its still there, and with Opie now on Jaxs side and Tig becoming a completely new man I don’t see how much longer Clay can keep running things his way.

Cant wait to see how things are affected when Weston finds out about the deals Zobelle has been making with the Mayans.

I’m thinking we should do some kind of live blog during the finale…

  6. My Pal the Crook Says:

Oh Mars: The reason Tig confessed to Opie wasn’t because he was overcome with guilt about killing Donna. It was more over what just happened with Gemma and Tig seeking punishment.

  7. Twerps! Says:

Tig has been feeling really guilty about killing donna. The Gemma thing pushed him over the edge.

  8. Oh Mars Says:

He was totally feeling overwhelmed even in the last episode – his shroom-induced state, clutching the idol and begging for forgiveness.
But yeah, the Gemma make out session was the straw that broke his back.
