Bloglin Weekly Round-Up!

Oh hi, c’mon in, baby. Here, I’ll take your jacket. You look absolutely delicious in that dress. How was your week? Really? Sounds like you’ve been busy. Well, sit down here on the sofa. Allow me to rub your back with the rarest of oils as I fill you in on what’s been going on at the Bloglin. Goddamn, you smell great…
• Vol. XIV of the Keep Watch Mix Series comes to us from London-based, DMC award winning duo Jack Beats. The mix features exclusive unreleased edits, re-edits, remixes, and good old-fashioned badittude.
• Working the merch table on an ICP tour sounds fucking miserable. Who knew?!
• Foxy Boxing lives on in the photography of Ellen Stagg! She graced us with a few photos from a recent shoot featuring Justine Joli, Heather Vandeven, and X-treme radio personality Jason Ellis.
• A documentary is coming out about graphic designer Aaron Draplin, and Crook found this b- reel in which Draplin discusses how being tipsy on eBay led to him purchasing a vintage motel sign, and his absolute disgust at what was replacing it. I went on eBay drunk once and am now the proud owner of a Rocketeer wall clock.

• LA, hide your daughters and lock your liquor cabinets. Мишка is coming.
• Choice Is Yours shifts from the sludge/doom debates to Illmatic vs. Ride the Lightning. I chose Illmatic, because to this day, I can put that CD in my stereo and it won’t come out for weeks. Never skipping a track.
• Twerps! found a grip of photos on his old iMac and posted a Flickr set of them. Lotsa Mr. Ts, creepo dolls, and cute girls. Lots.
• The latest installment of Kill With Video features kneeboarding idol Ted Bevelacque, or something. This is my favorite KWV so far, and it gets me amped up to the max every time I watch it. Before I die, I hope someone takes of picture of me in full mulekick, or something. PS: Vidiot, where is that footage from? I want it.
• Top ranking albums of the week, ya’ll: ‘Til the Casket Drops from Clipse, the Fall Be Kind EP from Animal Collective, Odeon from D.A., Scalping the Guru from El Jesus de Magico, and Judged by 12, Carried by 6 from Blessure Grave.

Smart play Ted. Pull a video that’s gotten yourself more attention than anything else in the past 2+ decades. You think there is money to be made from Get Radical and we’re taking it from your pockets? No, you capitalize on the traffic it created which you’ve wisely now killed. Bravo!
