Choice Is Yours Vol. 57: The Great Milenko vs. The Slim Shady LP

Insane Clown Posse – The Great Milenko (1997)
Vs.

Eminem – The Slim Shady LP (1999)
The Game is simple… if only one could exist which would it be? What’s more important… personal relevance, cultural significance, or simply being the better album all other things aside? Choice is yours…

These two albums are way more alike than most Eminem and Hip Hop fans will openly admit.

Both of these give me diarrhea, but the diarrhea that The Slim Shady LP gives me is often easier to wipe.

Touch choice but I’m gonna go with ICP on this one. If you took the best 5 songs off each, Eminem might win, but as far as whole albums go, Milenko wins

Funny shit, DVVG.
Never would I ever choose to listen to either, but I have to wonder where we’d be today in a world deprived of juggalos vs. a world w/o eminem wannabes.
ICP BIG WIN

Where my Ninjas on this one?

Both great albums, but I’m down with the clown til I’m dead in the ground.

Milenko hands down

Get rid of both of ‘em and let God sort it out.

Easily one of the toughest CIY decisions for me. Nothing else in ICP’s catalog compares to what they achieved on The Great Milenko, but Eminem never quite trumped the ferocity and wordplay of The Slim Shady LP.
Either way, I lose on this one…
I need some Faygo & a chainsaw to settle this one.

Lulz to Zach E.
Sometimes I listen to Eminem and I realize that he’s a pretty good rapper.
ICP was never to cool to me and I was obsessed with Limp Bizkit’s first album.

4th Jokers card all the way. I disagree that this is the best album they’ve done, but it def marks the time where they blew up and we seen a huge surge of new juggalos. Great era in my life and amazing album…

I have to say Milenko, since I was a Juggalo in 97 and that album brings back fond memories.

Fuck juggalos a world without them is amazing and to tell the truth the slim shady LP was good

Last 16 on the album……………
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it
Spend a million a track and went over my budget (Ohh shit!)
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can’t rap anymore – I just murdered the alphabet
Drug sickness got me doin some bugged twitches
I’m withdrawn from crack so bad my blood itches
I don’t rap to get the women – fuck bitches
Give me a fat slut that cooks and does dishes
Never ran with a click – I’m a posse
Kamikaze, strappin a motherfuckin bomb across me
From the second I was born, my momma lost me
I’m a cross between Manson, Esham and Ozzy
I don’t know why the fuck I’m here in the first place
My worst day on this earth was my first birthday
Retarded? What did that nurse say? Brain damage?
Fuck, I was born during the earthquake
Slim Shady LP
