Trouble & Bass: No Escape From NY! This Wednesday 1/13!

For the past year, Trouble & Bass, has been serving up hefty portion of bass on a weekly and monthly basis with their infamous crew monthlies and their No Escape From NY weekly parties. They have featured the best up and coming and established talent from Skream and Benga to Harvard Bass and Nightslugs backing them up with the best music the dance world has to offer.
Over the past 6 years, T&B have been notorious for their ground breaking parties and DJ sets. From classic rave and dnb to wobble and grime, anything gaining some notoriety nowadays has found itself on their turntables way back when. Nothing gets passed them! always one step ahead!
To start off the new decade, they’ve moved their weekly to Webster Hall’s basement Studio. We hope that this venue brings them to a steady home with a good sound system which will be able to accommodate their loyal and ever growing following of new comers and ex ravers.

This Wednesday, the crew welcomes new T&B soldiers, Ninjasonik; and tropical master, Uproot Andy. Not much more we can say more about Ninjasonik that we haven’t said countless times over with their Keep Watch mix and Telli’s alter ego project, Darth Baño, but we’ll say it again! Fusing raw punk-ish energy with reverent and ironic rhymes, the crew destroys the stage driving the crowds to full on rioting! Check out their remix video for Matt & Kim‘s Daylight.
There’s been a lot of dance genres chatted up this past year, but none more than Cumbia and Kuduro which when grouped together make Tropical. The Tropical sound groups all of the tribal and island sounds into one set of non stop booty shakin’ set.

Uproot Andy, NYC based producer and DJ brings you just this. If you need a clearer picture, check out this XLR8R’s blog feature and his mix for Diesel U Music via Dutty Artz.
