Hey Mishkateers,

Toilet Cobra here.  I’m hosting a party that I named Midnite Till Death tomorrow at Don Pedro’s Friday, February 12th.  Don Pedro’s is a fun piss cave where you can do whatever you want.  I won’t go into what all of those things are but you can do pretty much everything that you might want to do at a bar. The people who work there are cool as fuck and the basement is as good of a den of evil as any I’ve ever seen. You know that scene in the Ninja Turtles movie where there’s a basement of juvenile delinquents in a basement playing guitar, skateboarding, playing arcade games, smoking cigarettes and playing poker? That’s kind of what Don Pedro’s is like. It’s Pleasure Island and if you hang around long enough you turn into a donkey. The door’s open at 9pm and the first band’s on at 10pm.  These are the kind of bands you go nuts to and roll around on the floor to.  Throw shit and take off your clothes.  Turn into an animal.

The first band up is Fuck School.  This is my band.  I sing and the guys from LivefLastdie play instruments.  This above photo is the only documentation of the first show since I accidentally erased the video of our set.

Next up is Total Slacker, who are new but are going to blow up fast. They are “a band to watch.” They’re lo fi and jangly but they’re better at their instruments, funnier and more nuts when they play than most of their peers.

After them is Cerebral Ballzy. I probably don’t have to say too much about these guys. Great songs, good pits at their show. Friendly to their friends, antagonizing every one they don’t like and always causing constant havoc.

Next up is Liquor Store. These guys also go pretty nuts and are way better than either the Velvet Underground and Bob Dylan. The band ranges from having five to eight guitarists and it is intense. Like the other bands they go nuts and jump off of stuff and they drive the crowd to move about and roll around on the floor.

The final band of the evening is X Ray Eyeballs.  The band features OJ and Carly from Golden Triangle, Jack Hines from K Holes and some other guys I don’t know. They make the lo-fi music that is surfish and jangly and also with the echoes and they do it really well.  they can craft a tune and bang it out in a way where some folks feel comfortable standing around watching the music happen and other folks can writhe around and feel the music happen.  Both types of music show attenders can do what they want to this band.

And The Vidiot AKA Yr Friend Matthew will be doing the visuals for the evening. It should be good and transform the space.

Also there’s free Мишка clothes to attendees who don’t annoy the fuck out of me.  I’ll toss it out in between the bands.  And don’t try to get more than one thing, jerkoffs. Show up and romp hard.  See you then or kick yourself for being stupid.
