Choice Is Yours Vol. 66: Park Life vs. (What’s the Story) Morning Glory?

Blur – Parklife (1994)
Vs.

Oasis – (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? (1995)
The Game is simple… if only one could exist which would it be? What’s more important… personal relevance, cultural significance, or simply being the better album all other things aside? Choice is yours…

Morning Glory. No question.

Whoa. Can’t we just nominate them both as sharing the spot of greatest album and call it a day?

Morning Glory….or as I like to think it’s called: WWBD? What would the Beatles do?

Morning GLory, hands down! one of the only albums i can listen to start to finish and it works so well that way.
But that Blur album cover is amazing, surprised i didn’t remember it.

Without a doubt ParkLife. I personally cannot stand Oasis, but I guess that’s because I’m a Londoner and Londoners hate Oasis on principle. Mancunian wankers.

I know I haven’t heard either so I gotta stay mum on this.

Parklife. Oasis are and always have been gobby twats.

Parklife.
Genuinely witty and insightful modern pop over a third-rate Beatles tribute act every day.

This is a hard one. I think blur is better but wonderwall got more american airplay than boys&girls. but song 2 is kickass. (yes, i know song 2 isnt on parklife it just needs to be said)
