This week we’ve got another great juxtaposition of good style and good photography, which in case you haven’t been following Freaky Stylee for the past few weeks is almost always a TKO when it comes to winning.  I’m dubbing this  The “Rhymes With Nifty” Screenwrite because Liam is studying screenwriting and uses a word that “Rhymes With Nifty” over and over again in his answers like it was going out of style…who knows, maybe it is? Or maybe it was just the answer for 23 down?

What do you do? I’m studying screenwriting at NYU. But I also spend a lot of time wondering why I don’t jusy drop out and DJ instead.

Describe your style? The Thrifty Spike Jonze. I like skinny ties and hitting up the Salvation Army on 4th Ave for good finds. But you can’t skimp on kicks…they’re like hubcaps. You see a nice ride with crappy wheels, it just ruins the whole picture.  But if you’ve got a shitty ride, throw some new wheels on it. It’ll probably look ridiculous but at least you’re owning it. Ill kicks are essential.

What are you wearing? Мишка Keep Watch Satin New Era with the mouth on it! Thrifty pea coat, thrifty button up (H&M maybe?). I think I’ve got purple Lakais on also, but ya can’t see em. And the Times crossword in my hand.

What are you currently listening to? Madvillain. Bassnectar. Joy Orbison, Rusko and other such wobbly beats.

Looking out over the river is always conducive to some meaningful thinking… I wonder though if Liam is thinking about how to resolve a 3rd act or dropping out of school in that picture? If you want my 2¢ (and you’re going to get them regardless cause it’s my blog), don’t drop out of school to DJ. You can DJ and go to school, it ain’t that complicated to figure out how to do both. I know going to NYU poses the challenge of having the whole city distract you from your studies, but if you can figure out how to juggle both you’ll be all the better for it in the future. Oh and congrats on winning!
