No not Tim & Eric Nite Live, but  “Night Live” as in SNL. Last night’s opening sequence for the Season Cinco premiere featured a spot-on spoof of the early 90′s SNL opening credits. The credits from back when Dana Carvey, Mike Myers, Chris Farley and Adam Sandler were all on the show together.

I think part of the reason I found this quite so funny is because of how often I’m noticing SNL try and take a stab at doing T&EASGJ!-esque skit. For example take “Flags of the World” (clip above) from this past Saturday’s episode.

While I’d love to add a clip from one of those original 90′s SNL opening credits so you could see the similarities, however SNL are absolute Nazis about taking that shit down off any video uploading site that isn’t Hulu and none of that shit is on Hulu. Oh well! ‘Til next week’s T&E…
