The Game is simple… if only one could exist which would it be?  What’s more important… personal relevance, cultural significance, or simply being the better album all other things aside? Choice is yours…

    Bikini Kill.

Although I’d take Daisy Chainsaw over either of them…

SHIT, this one’s difficult. These albums mean something to me on totally different levels, though I think I was ultimately more shaped by Pussy Whipped than Exile. And it’s been miserable watching Liz Phair fall so far. But they were both crucial. I have no idea.

Fucking Hipsters, Liz Phair wins. Bikini Kill just kind of annoying and this is coming from a woman. Sorry if Liz Phair tried to make money in the new decade.

  9. Mr. H Says:

    Liz Phair Blows
    Drink More Pabst
    BIKINI KILL RULES

  10. Rue Sauvage Says:

It’s not just that Liz Phair tried to make money, it’s that her songs started completely sucking. Like, no redeemable qualities, regardless of commercial viability. I mean, she’s been trying to make money since her second album, who cares? But by the time we got to that fourth album, it was just a disaster. “Why Can’t I”? It’s like a yogurt commercial.

I love how everyone voted Bikini Kill. I was a Riot Grrl back in my day, I hearted Bikini Kill hard, even saw them at Yale with Bratmobile. Oh the 90′s
