In 3800 BC, the first advanced civilization arose in Sumeria, appearing to be a spontaneous phenomena of evolution. What was it that after hundreds of thousands and even millions of years of painfully slow human development caused this evolutionary explosion, transforming hunter-gatherer nomads into farmers, pottery makers, mathematicians, astronomers, musicians, judges, and priests? What was the catalyst to this leap which separated Intelligent Man from primate?

Zecharia Sitchin believes the answer lies the Ancient Sumerian tablets’ record of Nibiru. Translating these texts, Sitchin has discovered the existence of a 12th Planet which separated from another distant solar system and pulled into ours. Larger than the size of Earth, Nibiru travels along a 3,600 year long orbit around the Sun. According to Sumerian history, Earth and the Asteroid belt are remnants of a much larger planet, Tiamat, which Nibiru collided with and destroyed as it progressed through its ellipse.

It was in 3800 BC when Nibiru was last in our solar system and its alien inhabitants, the Annunaki, descended upon Earth, utilizing the Fertile Crescent as their landing site to create a slave race of creatures. By cross breeding their own DNA with the primates found on Earth, the Annunaki genetically engineered Humankind. Our ancestors exalted them as the Nephilim (Nefilim) or “Sons of God” who traveled back and forth from Heavens in their chariots imparting the wisdom of the stars. In this mode of thought, outer space voyaging aliens landed their rockets on our planet and genetically altered our species into intelligent life.

…the Nefilim’s own planet, with its vast orbit, has served as a traveling observatory, taking them through the orbits of all the outer planets and enabling them to observe t first hand most of the solar system.
No wonder, then, that when they landed on Earth, a good deal of knowledge they brought with them concerned astronomy and celestial mathematics. The Nefilim, “Gods of Heaven” upon Earth, taught Man to look up into the heavens – just as Yahweh urged Abraham to do.
No wonder, too, that even the earliest and crudest sculptures and drawings bore celestial symbols of constellations and planets; and that when gods were to be represented or invoked, their celestial symbols were used as a graphic shorthand. By invoking the celestial (“divine”) symbols, Man was no longer alone; the symbols connected Earthlings with the Nefilim, Earth with Heaven, Mankind with the universe.

As deified as the Annunaki were, they were no more than rank and file soldiers to the true GODS. In Sumerian mythology, Anu was a sky-god, the god of heaven, lord of constellations, king of gods, spirits and demons, and dwelt in the highest heavenly regions. It was believed that he had the power to judge those who had committed crimes, and that he had created the stars as soldiers to destroy the wicked. He was the master of the Anunnaki and father to sons, Enlil and Enki. Our lead image today is a Sumerian tablet portraying Anu.

The Sumerian texts explain that at that early stage in the arrival of the gods on Earth, a separation of powers was agreed upon; Anu was to stay in the heavens, and rule over the Twelfth Planet; Enlil was to command the lands; and Enki was put in charge of the AB.ZU…scolars have translated AB.ZU as the “watery deep,” assuming that, as in Greek mythology, Enlil represented the thundering Zeus, and EA was the prototype of Poseidon, God of the Oceans.

Sitchin reveals that the Sumerians were the first to document the Epic of Creation with Gilgamesh which later traveled across civilizations and re-appropriated by cultures from Egypt to Greece to our Western culture. In fact, every biblical story from the Tower of Babel to The Deluge is included in the Sumerian texts, and Sitchen offers a compelling chronology of this Alien race and their science as understood by us as the work of omnipotent beings of the Celestial Heavens. These Sumerian Gods were ultimately condensed into one Supreme Deity within the book of Genesis — as Sitchin asserts that Elohim is properly translated as a plural form. His body of work is an extraordinary revision to all that we know of our origins on this planet.

The assertion, first recorded and transmitted by the Sumerians, that “MAN” was created by the Nefilim, appears at first to clash both with the theory of evolution and with the Judeo-Christian tenets based on the Bible. But in fact, the information contained in the Sumerian texts – and only that information – can affirm both the validity of the theory of evolution and the truth of the biblical tale – and show that there really is no conflict at all between the two.

Adam or “Adapa” in the Sumerian text, was in fact created in the image of Elohim (the Gods), by their chief scientist, EA…we were imprinted with the Nefilim’s genetic code. Once the “model” was perfected, The Nefilim could create females and duplicates. Since the Nefilim was now genetically compatible with the Daughters of Man, they could marry and reproduce…creating a “Bloodline of the Gods.” It’s in these bloodlines which Royal Families have exercised their rule over the masses throughout time.

I’m merely scratching the surface of Zecharia Sitchen. His work is much too complex to edit into a cohesive summary…you MUST read it for yourself. When examining Ancient civilizations, the accepted supposition is that they were an inferior and less advanced than our modern cultures…what if we have it all wrong and that they were, in fact, more technologically and intellectually advanced than we can imagine?
