The Game is simple… if only one could exist which would it be? What’s more important… personal relevance, cultural significance, or simply being the better album all other things aside? Choice is yours…

DJ Shadow on this one. Never really got into Underworld.

  3. Dr. Dinosaur Says:

What is this one a fucking joke?! Underworld?

    Shadow.

  4. Josh Hill Says:

It has to be endtroducing, the godfather of instrumental hip-hop with his debut full length piece, in fact, masterpiece!

  5. ben Says:

    April 1st is still a little way’s off…

DJ Shadow in case this isn’t a joke.

  6. dusty Says:

Entroducing hands down. i bought that album on a whim when i was 13 and it changed me forever.

  7. horseydeucey Says:

    Right, Entroducing.
Those tracks still sneak into my head at odd times. 1996: substances, video games and Shadow. For me, Underworld will forever be Trainspotting-linked and that’s it. Krush helped a lot, but Shadow served as the bridge for me from hip-hop to electronic. Plus U.N.K.L.E.? Puhlease, Entroducing.

  8. 420 Says:

dj shadow is a easy pick for me over underworld.

  9. Kingsnake Says:

DJ Shadow hands down! wow, for once I didn’t have to wrack my brain to figure out which way to lean.

He’s still in Tokyo. So let’s thrash the comments with more Soundgarden bashing!

  12. iBspoof Says:

Underworld album changed my appreciation for music.

  13. PLATINUMEAGLE Says:

entroducing, “organ donor” and “building steam with a grain of salt” blew my dick off when i first got this.

  14. My Pal the Crook Says:

IF you want my 2¢ it’s that I was never that into either of these albums. I actually think Entroducing is one of the more overrated albums of the past two decades. I’m not at all saying it’s a bad or an awful album by any means, and I actually really enjoyed it when it first came out. I didn’t however treat it like some new gospel of Christ that most people made it out to be. I fully understand how revolutionary it was for it’s time, but some 14 years later I really don’t think it’s aged the way an undisputed classic should have.

But I honestly have no opinion between either it or Dubnobasswithmyheadman, but I will say anyone poo-pooing Underworld’s inclusion here should perhaps go back and re-listen to both albums.

  15. MistaObseen Says:
