Borgore: Dubstep for Juggalos
I’m sure I’m late on this guy, but with all the Juggalo obsession that goes on over here on the Bloglin, I figured someone might appreciate this. Borgore’s a new “hot” producer in the Dubstep scene. His forthcoming EP entitled Borgore “Ruined Dubstep” is due out by the end of the month. With tracks like Nympho, it’s easy to see how his shock value is gaining him attention.
Kinda like what ICP did to Wigger rock right? Maybe? Prolly not.

Nah, Borgore is just having fun taking the piss out of the chin scratching, self-styled “dub scientist” types who wallflower up every Dubstep night. At least he has some serious chops as a programmer / producer.
He was a Punk musician for years, he’s just bringing the fuck you aesthetic to Dubstep. Also, by playing the media so well, he winds up going from youtube weirdo to magazine cover boy.
While he’s nowhere at the top of the pile in terms of dubstep producers, at least he’s original…if i hear on more badly timestretched mp3 of a dancehall vocal over some boring ass 808′s immashitmahpants.

Everybody got all bothered when I created a forum to point this out, glad I’m not the only one making this observation.
Chin-strokestep FTW

prolly as usually you are PROLLY’D on some 5 months late tip. im not so sure that hes not serious with his rapping stuff cause if he were then you do it once and then thats it, its a joke ha ha but you dont continue to do poorly rapped stuff on honestly really good and hard metal inspired dubstep = thug step

borgore is an incredibly talented musician regardless of what sort of music he is producing. his use of “shock value” as a marketing technique is genius. i honestly didn’t care for his sound at first but as his style developed my appreciation increased.
big ups to asaf and the israeli bass massive.

Umm…his tunes are ok. Nothing to mind-blowing. His rapping is wack. His mixing skills are atrocious. I saw him live and his mixing skills left much to be desired. The crowd was even heckling him. His 5 min are almost up. As far his him being an artist…yeah, he might be an artist. Just not a very good one.

As a “Prolly’d” authority I am going to give Prolly a late pass on this one.

i don’t think his credibilty would be so questioned if he wouldn’t put out such corny ass videos.
