Recap: Killing Spree Los Angeles… Goths vs. Douchebags!
Killing Spree, LA ‘s monthly Minimal Synth/Cold Wave party that we sponsor went down on Friday March 12th at the Two Headed Horse.
The night kicked into full gear with a set from DJ Carlos Rossi who got the crowd dancing and ready to go… Carlos was later joined by DJ Black Rainbow for a tag team set that brought the darkness to a fever pitch with Goths, Death Rockers, Punx, Hipsters, Record Nerds and everyone in between to the floor.
Matt and Jorma from The Bronx/Mariachi El Bronx held down the fort on the patio where around the 3am mark…everything started to get real, real weird.
Shirts went flying…and soon fists as well… As the night was winding down, a real bad element showed up at the party, tensions built up and exploded into a brawl of epic proportions. Goths and misfits vs. the Hollywood douche bags. Punches were thrown, bottles were broken, hair was pulled, blood was spilled…we are not sure if everyone made it out alive…but one thing we are sure of…is that we can’t wait for the next one in April!!!
For a taste of the soundtrack for the evening, here are two accompanying mixtapes…
DJ Carlos Rossi: Cold Transmissions v.1 (part 1)
DJ Black Rainbow: Cold Transmissions v.1 (part 2)
