Proto-Punkers Death (Detroit) are Playing Europa This Friday!
No not Chuck Shuldiner’s (R.I.P.) legendary the death metal Death, but the mid-70s Detroit black proto-punk band featuring the Hackney brothers! Their record For The Whole World To See…, was kinda lost there for some decades until Drag City resurrected it from obscurity last year.
Everybody whose heard the album now loves Death to death and you gotta go to this show! Not only are Death playing but Bobby Hackney’s three sons started a band inspired by Death called Rough Francis who are opening. This show is going to be the end all, be all!
