A friend just clued me in on this interview with Joe Petagano, the man behind many of Motörhead’s album covers and their iconic Snaggletooth mascot. In addition to Motörhead, Mr. Petagano has also worked on artwork for other head shop wall legends as Zeppelin, Floyd and Nazereth.

The interview is broken up into two parts and includes cameos from Lemmy and other members of Motörhead who regard Petagano and the visuals he has created as the band’s unsung fourth member. Pretty good stuff for anyone interested in the history of Rock and Metal art.
