Rejoice! Party Down Season Two Has Begun!
After Eastbound and Down, Party Down is the funniest show on TV and the second season has just started. Last year I sung praises for the show and while I tend to use hyperboles like toilet paper, I still stand by my words. It’s on the Starz Channel, which I don’t think anyone actually has. But everyone has Netflix and thanks to their tight relationship with Starz, each episode is available on Watch Instantly after it airs. Seriously, don’t sleep on this show.
Guest stars in the season premiere included Danny Woodburn (Mickey from Seinfeld!) in a cameo as hilarious as it is breif, Michael Kostroff (Maurice Levy aka Barksdale’s lawyer from The Wire), and character actor Jimmi Simpson as goth-rocker Jackal Onassis.
If you need to catch up, the entirety of season 1 is still available on Netflix Watch Instantly. Now if you’ll excuse me, “I think there’s some drunk sluts over by the snack table…”
