This mix is much more of a pet project than any other one we’ve released around here since I was personally involved. We wanted to make an exclusive mix for our Tokyo shop opening party  to be given out in the gift bags. I decided to take a stab at it. I enlisted an old friend, the talented DJ/Producer Mike Dextro to help me out and dubbed us Baryshnikov. Both of our first names are Mikhail… get it? Anyhoo…

More than anything this mix was about moods, synths and romance! It’s a long one, well over an hour and ebbs and flows between soft seduction to dance floor eruption. The mix is really all over the place drawing in Electro, Italo, New Wave, Synth Pop and some Glo-Fi/Chillwave in crafting a perfect mood for a White Night!
