It changed mine. I stumbled upon this video yesterday and was just blown away… I’m sure you all have heard Real Life’s Synth Pop staple “Send Me An Angel” about a zillion times… Actually, I guess that number depends on how many Goth/New wave dance parties you’ve been to in your life OR how many times you’ve watched BMXploitation film RAD.

Anyway ℑ⊇≥◊≤⊆ℜ (yes that’s the name, and no I don’t know how to pronounce it) covered the song and turned it into the most terrifyingly awesome thing I’ve heard in a LOOOONG while. Plus the video for it by Cosmotropia de Xam is pretty snazzy in it’s own right.

So How can you find more music by ℑ⊇≥◊≤⊆ℜ? Well for one he/she is a member of Mater Suspiria Vision so you could start there. They put out a great CD on Disaro this year (Bloglin review forthcoming). This cover however is originally part of the Zombie Rave 2 Mixtape that ℑ⊇≥◊≤⊆ℜ did. Unfortunately it can’t be downloaded any longer, but you can still listen to it directly on Soundcloud. Well it and the original Zombie Rave Mixtape (also no longer downloadable).
