As our 4th of July function approaches, I’ll be profiling each of the performing bands, rappers, and DJs, telling you what’s up with each of these awesome acts in several parts. Starting things off are our Philly stronghold of Rx, Flufftronix and Dirty South Joe!

Philly based Rx will be on the decks dropping a healthy dose of his signature dubstep. Rx is part of the dubsteppin’ clique SubDivision, and spins locally in the Philly club circuit. He did a mix for us a while back called Northen Lights, be sure to grab it here!

Another Philly head, Flufftronix, will be gracing us with his presence at Red, White, and Brews. Flufftronix, like so many of our featured artists, is all about the B-A-S-S. His tunes are some of the heaviest I’ve ever heard.

Flufftronix melds together leaden drum ‘n’ bass vibes with dubstep, making his sound truly one of a kind. Head over to the Flufftronix’s MySpace for a taste.

Not only is Diplo into him, so is Lil Jon!

Finally there’s the star of Drop The Lime’s “Sex Sax” video, Dirty South Joe. Joe will be joined by fellow Brick Bandits crew members, DJ Tameil and Tim Dolla who’ll be bringing some serious Baltimore club to you all. If anyone is going to get you off your a$$ and dancing, it’ll be these dudes.

Our old friend Diplo has been a big supporter of Brick Bandits since their inception and plays their joints out regularly. To tell you the truth, Dirty South Joe, DJ Tameil, and Tim Dolla are the DJs I’m personally most excited about seeing this Independence Day. Don’t miss out, yo!
