As much as i hate courtney love (publicity whore, fraud and rights thief) i would have to go with ‘live through this’.

agreed. sleater kinney was fucking annoying. but then again, so it courtney love. but a few of those jams on that album are seriously enjoyable. to me, sleater kinney is/ was annoying, snotty (in a bad way), angsty 90s indie. That girls voice never sat well with me. that shrill!! in the end, hole was more culturally impactful.. but that of course is debatable.. i say all this as a non-fan of either artists. fuck it.

Live Through This was THE ONLY album by Hole that I could actually tolerate.
Things were never quite the same after Kristen Pfaff died, and Courtney moved to Hollywood.
Bikini Kill would have been a more worthy opponent.

Yeah, S-K didn’t grow on me until All Hands On The Bad one, and Live Through This is also to me the only tolerable Hole album.
Ugh, I hate saying this but I’m gonna have to go with Hole.
