I didn’t even know iDrugs existed until I read this feature from The Oklahoman, but now all I want to do is try some!* Can you buy them via iTunes? Either way it looks like you just got beat as the gateway drug of choice Pot!
Young people plug into i-dosers through putting on headphones and downloading music and tones that create a supposed drug-like euphoria.
Can you control what sound waves you get fucked up on?? You know like strains of marijuana? Like can I get a “Chillwave” high one day and a “Grindcore” high the next day? or since this is being done over high school are we stuck with Brokencyde only hits audio-ecstasy?

Some on here, but I found a shit-ton on soulseek a few months ago, just search for i-doser. There’s a wide variety of different drugs and feelings it’s supposed to simulate. Haven’t tried any yet cause I had it chalked up to be a bunch of bullshit

Googled it, found it on megaupload, insalled it, took a dose of “cocaine”, made it trough 25% percent of the “dose” (i.e. really annoying sounds), uninstalled it, headache! So yeah, it sucks!

I’ve tried them. Supposedly you need actual high quality sound files (not the mp3 files found on filesharing site but I think that’s just getting into audiophile pretentious territory so who knows) and noise-canceling headphones while in a quiet dark room for them to have any effect. I think most of it is bullshit but I did try “Hand of God” and “Gates of Hell” and half way through them I actually felt something. It wasn’t like any drug feeling or even drunkenness but it was like the dizzy feeling you get on a roller coaster or when you stand up too fast. That being said, I’d recommend just choking yourself out to get the same effect. Or just take ol’fashion drugs.
