During one of our retarded triple-digit heat wave weeks in Los Angeles this past month, the Мишка LA crew was treated to a visit from local Los Angeles KillPop Records founder Eli Smith & Cleveland’s own Digiraatii. While tearing up the Cleveland club scene for a minute now, Digiraatii is comprised of Zac Young (center) & Gregolas Zucco (right). They brought their talents to LA to record and open up for a secret Major Lazer show in Hollywood recently and gave us a visit soon thereafter.

We should be seeing and hearing a whole lot more of Digiraatii as they gear up for a move to LA, a move that is sure to bring these dudes into a higher visibility amongst music heads. It goes without saying that these dudes are pretty cool as well and support the shit out of Мишка.

Check out Digiraatii’s remix of the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s “Heads Will Roll” from their Make You Sweat EP and download their remix of Fischerspooner’s “Infidels of The World Unite.” And those of you in Los Angeles, keep your ears open and feet ready for Digiraatii’s eventual move.

As for Eli, in addition to Kill pop, he’s also a co-founder of So Sweet Records, a label that helped release and launch the careers of such artists as Crystal Castles, Ladytron, Shinichi Osawa and Le Castle Vania. Eli deejays as well and you’ll sometimes (enviously) catch him at some LA after hours spots rocking Мишка fitteds & chillin’ with beautiful Japanese women.
