Eat a Keep Watch Cake @ Caked Up! This Thursday, November 11th
No not caked up like in the Only Built 4 Cuban Linx sort of way but actually cakes, sweet, delicious, diet busting cakes!
NYCSCL is presenting a one night only custom cake art show bringing together NYC’s best designers to create a cake for the New York charity Art Start. And these cakes wont just sit their on display getting stale, these treats will be eaten the night of the show. the show is being curated by Kiel Mead and our dear friend Chad Phillips. There will be $10 donation at the door which will include entry, free cake, and drinks.
We’ll also be taking part in the event presenting a delicious chocolate Keep Watch eyeball cake which will be baked by my girlfriend, Kate Macey for the show. That above is one of the practice layers made in preparation for the show to get it looking and tasting just right! Which was subsequently gobbled up at 350 Broadway yesterday afternoon by staff and lucky customers.
There will be over 35 cakes there featuring creations from bakers/designers like: Cake Alchemy, Dan Golden and Jen Huh, Langdon Graves, Jeremyville, Bill McMullen, Kendall Mills, Mark Reigelman, Three Phase Studio, Todd St.John/ Hunter Gatherer, United Bamboo and Laura Young.
