Kanye Unleashes a Monster…Video?
We’re all pretty used to album leaking but videos? That isn’t a common occurrence, but it happened with Yeezy’s “Monster” this afternoon as it made it’s way over to YouTube. The picture quality isn’t great, the audio is crunchy, not synced just right and there’s a few spots where the Getty Images watermark is still pretty evident on some of stock shots…but you know what? It’s still watchable and pretty fucking good.
Kanye, Rick Ross, Jay-Z and of course Nicki Minaj with a host of dead and butchered models inside a creepy mansion. And much like with the song, Nicki Minaj steals the show on the video as both a wearwolf and while holding herself captive in a chair. *Sigh,* more salt in the wound at what a disappointment Pink Friday turned out to be. No clue when the finished product will be out, but i’m sure this will get taken down by the end of the day.

Definitely a Thriller werewolf.
Was just talking with the wife about Minaj…I’m starting to think there’s something wrong with me, as I am not in agreement with the idea that she steals the show. Her verse on this song is definitely the feature, sure, but…I don’t know. I’m not as bonered for her or anything as I think I’m supposed to be. Weird.
Weird that this leaked, too. But awesome.
