Who Wants Some Intelligent Trunk Music?
Stalley is a highly enlightened, lyrical artisan and one of Hip Hop’s brightest hopes. While the wordsmith was born and raised in Massillon, Ohio, Stalley has quickly embraced Brooklyn as his headquarters. His musical debut Goin Ape, was a well received mixtape released in 2008. A year later, Stalley released his second mixtape offering entitled MadStalley: The Autobiography.
Stalley’s style is strongly influenced by old-school greats like A Tribe Called Quest and Black Sheep, featuring laid-back and jazzy instrumentation behind genial and purposeful rhymes. The lyricist has been garnering heavy praise within the scene, notably from some of the bigger names – sharing the stage with hip-hop legends such as KRS-One, Ghostface Killa, Method Man, Redman, and Mos Def.
Additionally, Stalley has been featured on dates of Rock The Bells, the nationally renowned hip-hop festival. His superior stage presence is one of the biggest pulls to his craft, check out footage of Stalley performing in front of the sold-out Highline Ballroom in NYC.
Now, all of this considered – we here at Мишка have found it in everyone’s interest to do our best to support this rising, hip-hop star. Therefore, we’ll be bringing to you Stalley’s Lincoln Way Nights (Intelligent Trunk Music). Below you can find some teasers to keep you wet until the album’s official release in early February, jam to them now and thank us later.

I try to put everyone on to Stalley. Dude rips on those jazzy beats.
The only bummer is that the best track from MadStalley is the shortest, The Autobiography, the M*A*S*H* sample is sick.
