Lost On V-Day Gift Ideas? How About Some Luvley BASS?
Let’s face it: the world is heartless. The music industry is even colder. However, once a year there comes a time where you attempt to prove your ability to love someone by providing them with a heartfelt, or even sensual, display of affection. Who else better than two Philly selectors to show you what love is? Dirty South Joe and Flufftronix have been playing cupid since their debut of Luvstep last year. Compiling some of the bass music scene’s finest love-influenced tracks, the duo of Brotherly Love timely release their project on Valentine’s Day.
This year is no different, for these hopeless romantics have beautifully crafted an updated care-package of bass for you and yours. Aptly titled Luvstep 2, listeners can expect much of the same brilliance from last year’s offering. Focusing predominantly on the bass-driven sound of the multi-faceted dubstep scene, Dirty South Joe and Flufftronix mix up a wobbly batch of sexstep, female vocalized rumblers and future garage jamz. It’s music for starry nights and candle light…slow wine and grind time. This is Luvstep, can’t you feel it thawing your cold, black heart?
Below you can check out the teaser trailer (which is quite cleverly done) and remember: this one drops on 2/14/2011. So go out now, stock up on some tealights and scented oils – come valentine’s night, the rest will work itself out.
