contrary to popular belief, Pavement could have been the best alternative act of the 1990′s… next to Sonic Youth, PIXIES, Flaming Lips, The Fall, Hüsker Dü, Nirvana, The Breeders, Tom Waits, Radiohead, Spoon, R.E.M., Smashing Pumpkins, Sebadoh, Red House Painters, Nic Cave and The Bad Seeds, PJ Harvey, Belle & Sebastian, Afghan Whigs, Beck, etc..
