The Echo Park Art Walk is back after over a 13 month hiatus. Thanks to local artist Heather Mendoza, this Saturday May 14th from 12pm – 6pm, Echo Park will host an art walk amongst 40 participating stores, local elementary schools & service centers. We are proud to participate in this community driven event that should make for a great way to spend your Saturday afternoon in Los Angeles. Each of the 40 participating stores will host some kind of exhibit, showing or performance. You can print a map of the festivities to see what all the participants are doing.

For the Мишка LA store, we are going to host the photographic work of Nick Walker, who has shot everyone from Raekwon, Rza, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, Dave Sitek, Tom Morrello, Theophilus London and LA native professional baseball player Chris Dickerson. We will also host outside of the store, a small scale pop up shop for the vintage & reworked women’s clothing company called Ladiess. What’s more, we will be running a 30% discount on ALL Spring ’11 threads. This should all make for a great day of fun. Hope you can make it down for the experience.
