It’s kind of appropriate that A$AP Rocky & Main Attrakionz. would drop a song called “UGK,” (appropriately featuring a UGK sample) since dudes are basically the kings of the underground in hip hop right now as far as I’m concerned. But that’s not gonna be for too much longer given that Hot 97 been playing “Pesos” on the regular lately and the rest of the hip hop loving world starts waking up to both artists.

I’m sure most of you bloglin regulars have heard (and loved) their first collaboration, “Take 1” from our recently released 808s & Dark Grapes II, but “UGK”  (produced by Cashflow) is actually an even older track between them dating back to the start of this year. “UGK” was at one point meant to make it’s way to 808s II but unfortunately all of the production sessions had been lost rendering the track unmixable and unmasterable for the release. It was recently leaked to the world courtesy of Ballers Eve NYC and you’ll have to make due with it as is, which truthfully is still pretty awesome.
