How We Made It In America…
Ahhh, a young Russian immigrant boy’s dreams come true… I feel like Yakov Smirnoff! Truth be told I don’t think we’ve made it quite yet; We’ll talk when Greg’s got his Escalade and I’m rolling down Bedford Ave in Kitt, but a witty title is a witty title. Anyway, back to the point of this post… For the upcoming season of HBO’s How to Make It In America, we were filmed for a promotional bumper and asked create a special graphic for the show.
Besides getting our name and mugs on TV this is all pretty friggin’ cool considering the show’s plot line basically runs in sync to Greg’s and my own frustration, struggles and adventures in getting Мишка off the ground. For the bumper, the show came to our headquarters and did a short interview segment with Greg, our art director Mike Jones and Myself about the early days of the brand and our inspiration to get it started.
Along with this we also did a design for the show which was turned into a tee, raglan and pullover hoodie design that will only be available via Jack Threads for a limited time… and by “limited time” I mean just under three days.

haha, this is awesome though. I remember when Greg left Florida, and hearing about all of this, then checking the website, then working at the store/old office. Congrats dudes, this is certainly a good look.

Mishka isn’t just three people…. It’s a culmination of ideas provided by a group esotericists.
ancient chinese secret:
I once payed $5.00 for a Mishka Fitted off some kid who was selling stolen New Eras on Venice Beach.

I’m not sure quite why: but this segment really solidified just how much I admire you guys and how much I adore the brand. Keep doing it. Forever.
