After the great response we got from releasing Trillwave and Trillwave 2 do you really think we’d just be over and done with The Hood Internet? Hell no! But this time around we’re not bringing you a new mashups mix from them, but rather a compilation of their work as producers. Check out this first single off of their self-titled, album of remixes and original material from The Hood Internet, which we’re putting out on December 6th.

Though best known for their impeccable mashup skills, this Chicago duo are no slouches when it comes to their own music. I mean, just check out “The Future,” which features Мишка associates Ninjasonik and the homie Johnny Nelson (who’s currently on tour w/ Spank Rock). The Hood Internet album also features original tracks with BBU (who’ve got their own Мишка release coming in 2012), Das Racist, Freddie Gibbs, and remixes of GZA, Tobacco, Ariel Pink, and more!

Look for it on December 6th, and come out to the release show at the Knitting Factory on December 3rd and pick up some earlybird CD copies of it!
