Brand new super old video. Contradictions R fun 4 everyone, right? Central Unit, the Italian cult new wave band from the early 80s have apparently just been sitting on this video for their hit “Saturday Night” for a good, oh, 30 years. Or at least record label Mannequin has. Now, to honor the 30th anniversary, they’re releasing the video as well as a limited vinyl reprint of EP Loving Machinery.

Imagine how that meeting went. “Hey guys, we really want you to record this video. No, we’re not gonna release it now. You ever hear about a computer? Yeah, the thing the size of a car that does math and shit. We’re gonna wait til that gets really tiny and everyone has it and then we’re gonna release it then, but for free, and you’re all gonna be really old. Genius, I know!” Yup. That’s probably how it went down.
