It’s happenin’. We’re really doin it. And we want you to come be a part of it. I spent a lot of time goin to other people’s hip hop weeklies, and it makes me incredibly excited to announce one that I’m hosting along with the homie MGR The Mogul. Slap City isn’t just a weekly hip hop DJ night (although you better believe we are going to have dope DJs there every week), it’s a weekly hip hop event. It’s a place for rappers to come freestyle with each other, a place for artists to perform, and a means to start building a face to face element into all this networking and music-making that we do online. And with my ties to the cannabis industry you can expect to a healthy contingent from the world of medical cannabis.

I can see this event becoming just what we all need. It’s a way to start bringing all this networking that we do back into our communities. But ultimately, it’s a way for all of us to get together once a week and spend a night living in the world we create, surrounded by the folks who do it with us. Who knows, it could wind up being a long overdue follow up to Project Blowed. The world needs more weekly hip hop events with freestyling and live performances.
